Trauma resolution for business leaders.

Trauma resolution for business leaders.

Trauma can have a profound impact on our lives, especially when it stems from childhood experiences. As a business owner, childhood trauma can manifest as self-doubt, fear of failure, and a lack of confidence, ultimately hindering your success. However, there is hope. With an effective trauma strategy like the Philomela Protocol™ developed by Steven Budden, a consultant, business owners can heal from childhood trauma and unlock their full potential.

Rewrite your past to heal your trauma and achieve more.

Rewrite your past to heal your trauma and achieve more.

Remember, your past is a fiction, and the future has yet to be written.

Did you think the past was written in stone? Did you mistake it for 'non fiction?' How, when memory is notoriously unreliable, and people mistake 'emotional responses' for thinking? And you've been put through the blender.

"She put me through some changes boy, sort of like a Waring blender.' Warren Zevon. (Died of cancer a few years back, listen to the last album for an interesting take on life).

This is why, with every new client, we commence a thorough rewriting. I hone in on the cues to fictions, and catch them, like fireflies.

Birth as the First Trauma And Coaching for Awakening

What does it mean to suffer?

Pain is mandatory. Think of the archetypal birth experience. And even that's not necessarily fraught with pain either. At least, not by definition.

Women have orgasms while giving birth. I thought this was an urban myth, until I met a few. This isn't to say that 'I need to shame myself if I didn't have an orgasm while giving birth.' No. The spectrum of human experience is broad and beautiful.

Still alive after 5 days without water

‘Practice doing nothing, and everything falls into place.

That's a quote from the incomparable Tao Te Ching. I've spent twenty years or so trying to untangle it. Sometimes, a quote comes careening into my consciousness to save me from a moment of despair.

Fasting is one example. Did you know, fasting can cure 'damn near anything'? And it's been rigorously tested over the last 100 years.

I wrote Edenbound about healing with fruit. It's become somewhat known in fruitarian circles.

However, eating just fruit for years can be a challenge in most circumstances. I live in a suburb now. I need to bring healing to suburbs. That’s not saying it’s not worth it, I’m just constantly on the prowl for the most practical remedies that support the human organism in a holistic, sustainable way.

Another option is fasting. However, I'm going to shuffle a few paradigms here.

Dry fasting is what I'm talking about. No water or food intake.

Water fasting is more perilous, because you lose MORE vital body mass... it takes longer to reach entrenched conditions. Though it can be valuable in certain circumstances, it's not what I recommend generally.

Dry fasting is a lot more intensive, less sufferable, and shorter in duration. An 11 day dry fast is the longest you'll need to do to heal. (Check out the intriguing book Starving in Siberia. The author cured her late stage lyme disease by visiting a fasting master). She's not had a recurring symptom since 2017.

I learned of dry fasting via Robert Morse's channel on Youtube. Here’s the telegram. Someone wrote in and said they were paralyzed after a neck accident, and they did a 8 day dry fast, and they were able to move again.

This is because the body, when deprived of water, breaks down senescent cells and damaged tissue, and replaces it with fresh tissue. You get new organs, essentially. And a cleansing of 'spiritual' and 'chakra' blockages to boot. Parasites and bacteria die without water... what doesn't? The human organism.

I have a complex formulation of how different energetics/attachments interface with bacteria and parasites. That’ll be delivered somewhere else.

So if you've ever tried to 'starve' yeast or something out with various cleanses, it's immensely difficult. Dry fasting is easier.

The Phoenix Protocol, by August Dunning, goes deep into the science, in a brief little book that is quite practical. He recommends a 7 day dry fast once per year, but he says that the first one gets out all of sludge from the body from the previous lifetime. The next ones are sort of for maintenance.

What I Notice on Day 5

What I notice, I'm on day 5 now, is a dry mouth, a burning stomach, some lingering nerve pain that I first noticed during a bout of covid a few years ago. I'm going for the 7 days.

If you have something more life threatening, an 11 day fast might be in order.

Remember, that being underweight puts you at risk for many accidents and diseases that affect longevity. However, the dry fast, though you will lose weight, it is mostly water and fat. You need to eat in a specific way afterwards if your goal is not to pack the fat back on, as outlined in the protocol.

Now, it takes a week or two to come off of a 7 day fast. This is the most important piece, they say. Stem cells are flowing through your body for months, and one study showed that stem cells turned into fat cells in the presence of sugar. You want your stem cells, the virtual panacea of healing and youth, to go toward tissue regeneration instead.

It takes time to build up to a 7 day dry fast, by the way. (I've done many liquid fasts, and a few dry fasts, though I had only made it to day 3.5 prior). It isn't easy. I'm just mentioning that it is easier than many protocols. It's a mystical experience, really.

If you can isolate, and cold or cool baths and brisk walks in the snow help, it will be even simpler because you'll be away from your delicious burritos. I have that challenge as well, in the sense that I cook for my daughters every morning, and need to smell the oh so sweet aroma of simmering butter or blended watermelon. I'm ok though! I swoon and move on.

There is a hard dry and a soft dry fast. Earlier in my dry fasting journey I was attempting the hard, which means you don't come into contact with water at all, even on your skin. And then I read Dry Fasting by Sergey Filonov (the master that the woman visited in Siberia) and he said it is more helpful to bathe and take cold baths or showers, because it creates a reverse lymphatic flow which cleanses more deeply. Which is good to hear, because it is much easier.

I've been on long chats with clients, so I've dried out my mouth somewhat. Ideally you keep the mouth mostly closed. However, the cells begin to replace the hard, dead water in your body (consider it radioactive) with living water. Endogenous water. You'll see urine continue to proliferate even though you're not drinking. There have been measurements to show that it doesn't all come from the tissues.

This idea of replacing the dead water in the system with living water is fascinating. Water is a conduit for information. So when it's taken in, the body needs to assimilate the information. This takes energy. Some of the pollutants in the water nourish pathogens, in known and unknown-ways. (By the way, the Medical Medium is against dry fasting, so take that as you will).

What am I going for?

There's a lump on my rear right shoulder, which formed after a shoulder injury.

I've had head congestion for ever, and I still feel it lingering on the right side.

My eyes get tight and blurry when I eat certain things, which often signifies nerve inflammation.

I still get skin rashes occasionally on large intestine and stomach points, and flaking skin. (unless eating only fruit).

I feel a little tired and non-refreshed in the morning lately, since covid.

When I resolve those, I will be quite thrilled.

What do you need to resolve?

Love and flow,

Here are 11 things you might not know about Steven Budden :

Here are 11 things you might not know about me:

1. I lived in San Francisco on a shoestring budget for 7 years. Including on a Sailboat in Emeryville (East Bay) for a few years in my 30's. When the average rent was thousands of dollars, I always found opportunities to live at a fraction of that. Lesson: Sometimes you can hack a system. Never take someone's word for how 'impossible' something is.

Cleanse the Body and Mind (Resist adopting new myths)

Thank you to those of you that took part in Rapture. We had a hell of a time dispelling myths in the realm of relationship, philosophy, religion, parenting, physiology, etc.

This brings a new distinction to mind...

When I engage in work with a new client, I advice them to cleanse. This means cleans the physical body, and the mental body. This means cease media useage for a time.

In 1923, Gurdjieff did the same with his pupils and the newspaper.

Now we are entrenched in a thousand directions, a thousand battles deep.

So uproot the channels. Buddha called it 'guarding the sense doors.'

I've spent years clearing trauma from the body of clients that was taken on from a fiction story.

Healing is easy, or it's impossible. How to heal trauma and lifelong wounds.

Healing is not easy because...

The powers that be have us putting out fires constantly. Obviously, if they didn't, we'd overthrow the whole system, and replace it with one that is beautiful, functional, human.

Stepping outside of putting out fires for any length of time, healing happens naturally. WE flow toward healing.

Dietarily, for instance, the 'fires' are inflammation. Fasting and cleansing are a way to set aside the burn, and healing happens.

For psycholgy, what does it look like to set aside the burn? Maybe creativity? Maybe time in nature? Romance?

The ego wants to remain wounded. It's paradoxical. Because it wants to maintain the identity, and the wound is part of the identity.

Because most people live mostly as an expression of this ego, they'll defend their wounds to the death. Quite literally. If someone diagnoses them with something, that's 'proof': they have permission to go to the grave with that thing.

So healing. For me, it's about enligthenment. There's a subtle distinction between a healing and a cure. A cure means the physical symptoms vanish, and a healing occurs more at the 'spiritual' level. Meaning, a profound sense of wholeness.

One could heal and then pass away. Sometimes it works out that way.

Because while we do our work, we alter the course of the stars. However, only so far. There's some destiny in the whole thing, I think. Mostly, people take on something vast and ineffable as another way to limit themselves. I'm not using it that way here.

I'm just saying one day, it will be your time to go, and you'll go.

It's liberating, in a sense, because there's nothing to rail against, fear, destroy.

And healing is the most revolutionary act in the world. It really always has been.

The Christ story. The Buddha story. Look at those in terms of 'healing' interwoven with 'fate' and tell me what you notice. How I used to resist those stories: either of them could have stepped aside, lived on. (And there are versions of the story where he did).

It's not simple. It's not as complicated as people make it.

It's complex and beautiful.

Do you know that a certain virus visited humanity lately? All I can see is the healing it's bringing. Spiritual healing. Some people still die. Some of the 'cure'. Some of the fear. It's always been that way.

3 Steps to Fix Any Relationship Problem (Transcript)

Welcome to this training on fixing your relationship problems... or healing your relationship patterns.

I'm going to walk you through three of the core problems that people just like you have in relationship, and then walk you through the solutions.

You can use this to save an existing relationship, leave one that you know in your heart you should leave, or start a new one.

These fundamental tools will follow you throughout your life.

It's designed around intimate relationships, of course, however, every relationship in your life will be affected. Are you ready?

Intensive healing in Florida, fall, 2022.

Let's meet in Florida this fall.

I'm in Florida now for another week.

I just crept out into the night, and we stumbled upon a sea turtle laying eggs on the beach.

I went out later, and watched her slink back into the ocean. Beautiful experience.

The world is so full of rich life. I appreciated the reminder. Even on a dark beach.

Which reminded me to remind you...

I'm leading 12 people through the transformation of a lifetime. There are a few spaces left.

Based on my near death experience and 10 years of intensive with clients, this live, in-person, interactive event is designed to dismantle your core patterns and rebuild your identity from the ground up.

So that you can heal, live better, and love more.

Scribble your core obstacles onto a card, so that we can throw them into the proverbial fire.

Lug in your deepest fears, so we can cast them out to sea.

And carry in your broken heart, so that we can breathe new life into the crack.

After I nearly died, I heard a birdsong... and that was how I knew things were different. The nightengale had not changed. The one hearing the song had changed.

I caught a vision of the workshop I'm whispering about. An impossible dream.

I spent the next 10 years laying out the details. Making it real.

It's here. Is it your time now?

It starts with a conversation. Reply to start yours.

(Life is brief: make sure to say what matters most).

Most sincerely,

Steven Budden Jr.
Existential Detective. Find Yourself

Origin Story.

The most powerful healing in the world. (The Bloom Model™)

You are not living your full potential because something is incomplete in your life.

You complete it, and you are suddenly free.

So how?

Let's say your mother was harsh and you're waiting to understand why... or you're waiting for her to apologize... etc.

This event has affected your whole life. you could be waiting for the apology from your partners, or you could be harsh with your kids. You could be stuck financially in a place of helplessness, or needing to be mothered. Etc. The way patterns manifest is often subtle, and we only know a fraction of it.

Most people get it wrong while trying to heal or move toward their goals. For one thing, never learn how the whole system works together.

So you take the mind route. Journalling, trying to see ourselves, trying to make sense of it. This doesn't work to resolve the pattern, which lives in your nervous system, not your mind.

Can you get fit, detox, etc, and shed the baggage?

That can help, however the core issue usually remains untouched.

There are a host of modalities that attempt to work on this, like rapid eye movement and tapping and affirmations and TRE and Somatic Experiencing. What about these?

These are very helpful. However, they are not the most direct path, and will not lead to any kind of liberation from your pattern in my experience. Though they are at least pointed in the right direction. They often receive raving testimonials, because they at least give some benefit in a world of empty promises. And for anyone that has been stuck, that is a huge relief.

Is there a way to release lifelong patterns less time?

So that you can be what you were meant to be, and move toward what you want in life?

Yes.

What if I said that I could help you resolve your lifelong patterns in hours? Without you needing to 'will' anything or struggle with yourself for years or decades?

What if I could touch you and your life would change... not instantly, but almost. Would you jump on the opportunity?

Now in my experience, most people wouldn't. They would rather spend their time identifying and resisting their core pattern.

I used to do marketing like that, and people assumed it was a scam. (Of course!) After they experienced it, they said the opposite.

One woman, after healing her relationship patterns and meeting her soul mate (LITERALLY), said... in tears... you were actually UNDER-estimating.

Testimonials.

Mine is a unique story. I almost died when I broke my neck in the ocean. A huge wave slammed me into the sand.

Not long after that, I heard a birdsong. It was startling, because I realized that I was hearing it for the first time.

I mean, I'd been 'half asleep' before, and I didn't even know it! I'd just felt sort of 'incomplete'.

So you may be 'half asleep' or 'half alive' and only have a vaguee impression of it. We acclimate and it can become our 'normal', everyday state.

As I was finding ways to naturally heal my wound, the cracked bone, I also discovered, almost by accident, ways to feel more and more alive. And the pain of the wound was so central, I couldn't ignore it. And by going into it, my whole body came online.

The wound I went in to heal, the bone, was the surface wound.

While I thought that was my issue, it was the manifestation of the issue. The root. And it threaded back to every other pattern in my life.

That's how it is with you, too, and whatever challeng you're facing now. It's the surface. We need to go deeper.

So after I discovered this, to my astonishment, I found ways to awaken it in others. It took years of training and experimentation.

I just saw where people where stuck in their thoughts, actions, words, bodies, and put them back into alignment physically. Or I guided them with words. Or I straightened a curled up foot. Or lifted a fallen heart. Etc.

And then a little magic happened...

It was almost like clients were experiencing a sort of 'mirror' of what I experienced in my near death experience, without the harrowing brush with death; without the crushing blow.

So, I thought:

'This is something that I need to deliver to the world. How?'

I want you to hear the birdsong, or see your lover, or yourself in the mirror, or the flower, or the sunset, for the first time.

Like sit in full presence with your loved ones for the first time.

Or... feel the throb of life with your whole body...

Here's the way.

I'm not going to say it's the ONLY way, I'll just say that 'I don't know another way.'

I don't know how else to explain what I do. Though if you have questions, I can send you answers to a few frequently asked questions.

If you already know this is for you, perfect. Reply 'yes', and we can schedule a consult to see if we're a match.

In the back of your mind, you're trying to compare this process to something else. That's how the human mind works. It wants to define, label, understand.

However let me say this...

I provide a unique experience. It's completely bespoke, based on your unique constellation. I've never had someone come to me, experience the process, and say 'Oh I already tried that.'

They always say 'I've never experienced something like this!'

What I do is find the places where that 'incomplete thing' lives in you, and bring your awareness to them.

We do it through...

A powerful combination of informed touch and compassionate inquiry.

Origins.

Trauma. Old wounds. Near death experience. Other awakening experiences (Layers of Awakening™).

Education. I learned a lot from a lineage-less shaman woman that recently passed away, who taught at a now defunct healing school in San Francisco, in an intensive 3-year program, through an assortment of masters and healers, charlatans and gurus.

Experience. And then I practiced and refined it over 10 years.

And here we are.

I can confidently say that you may experience more benefit than with years of talk therapy in a few hours.

Outrageous, I know.

It is perhaps most direct healing modality in the world, for those that are ready.

Are you?

Now, while this process focuses on emotional healing, I'll remind you how linked everything is. Clients' bodies have certainly healed once their blockages were released.

Those pains and ailments that the mainstream systems cannot describe or contain... those live here.

When you've tried 'everything else', to no avail, you're in the perfect place.

You could be a decades-long veteran on the path, read every book on whatever topic, etc. It doesn't matter.

It also doesn't matter what spiritual system you use. (Though some may be designed to keep you further from the simple truths).

This system will bring you more and more alive for the first time.

I was 30 when I felt complete for the first time. It came from reconnecting to my feet. I cried tears of joy.

You'll cry, and you'll complete your loops, and you'll experience a profound life upgrade. You'll be more capable to give and receive love, and you'll get stunning clarity on your next steps.

Most people experience something that always inspires me: tears of grief flow into tears of joy.

In a world of dramatic and constant chance, this should be your first priority: to come alive. Everything else is a fiction.

Come alive, and THEN engage with the world. Engage the process, and the world begins to usher you on.

And bring that aliveness to whatever you do, whatever you have, whoever you've been.

The constellation of your life will shift, and your people (the primary people in your life) will 'shop up' differently.

So, I could also say it like this: Powerful Soul, Welcome to Your Body™. It's a staggeringly beautiful world. (Contrary to all prior 'perceptual' evidence).

Here we are.

One road leads to point A.

One road leads to point B.

Which do you choose?

Love and flow,

Steven Budden Jr.

Re-weave your Hero's Journey

While analyzing our beliefs, it's important to understand which ones are based on objective experience, and which are based on wishful thinking. (hint: It's often the opposite of what we think).

Recently, I was on this podcast, and the inquiry was about analyzing our core beliefs, presumably in the hopes of shifting to a more rational belief set.

However, few beliefs are rational. In truth, every belief fills a need: that's why it was adopted. As children, when we adopt beliefs, we usually adopt the ones that make the most primal sense; are the most comforting, for instance, or protect the ones we love that need protecting.

There is no 'objective' experience. There is no 'authentic story.'

Philomela Protocol - Reborn to your Own Life.

It's difficult to say what I do. That being said, here's an attempt, borrowed from an external source.

I remove distortions from a human organism.

In my experience, there is something like a 'divine' blueprint that each of us are endowed with, and when we get out of the way, the body begins to fall back into alignment with that blueprint, assuming that there is enough life force to sustain the shift.

Most of us do not get out of the way, physically or emotionally, and we run our most cherished 'possession', our body, into the ground.

For one thing, when we sustain a 'low vibration' way of living for long enough, that becomes our reality. We coerce and cajole until all fo the world around us fits into our personal paradigm.

How a Bloom Session might Look

People are sometimes curious about how a session with me may look.

While no two have ever gone remotely 'the same', there are some parallels.

Someone walks into the room, let's call her Carmen. She's been frozen stiff by the world around. She begins to speak, haltingly at first. I can tell that a script was prepared, but it all falls to pieces upon entering the space. Because anything that can be scripted or rehearsed is not real. The reality is lost to a concept; a flurry of language.

After listening to a few sentences, or a few paragraphs, I catch the faintest trace of it. It shows up as 'a swallowed emotion'. What was that!? Where did it go? I gently ask about it, sometimes by weaving in a story. This is where the tears often flow.

Trauma - A Revisit - Misunderstanding the word 'trauma' limits healing.

The word 'trauma' is widely misunderstood. This misunderstanding is not merely semantic; it actually limits human potential, by limiting human understanding.

Trauma can be physical or emotional. It can have subtle or overt origins. Some children experience years of physical abuse, and that is obviously traumatic. However, that limits some peoples' idea of trauma. Sometimes, a harsh word anchors in a lifelong trauma. It all depends on the psychological constellation that is occurring at the time.

One client had thrown a football a thousand times. But once, when he was trying to impress a girl, he threw a football horribly, and 'lost the girl', so the story goes. After exploring the equation through touch, he'd separated from his own arm; it had disappointed him. This manifested as arm and shoulder pain for years. So, the 1001th throw of the football could be the root of a lifetime of challenges, if left unresolved.

Healing Relationship Patterns

Do you know that feeling when you realize it... damn... you're back in the pattern again. You're doing the thing you swore you'd never do, and they're doing that thing again that irritates you most... that thing they vowed they'd never do.

Oh those solemn vows...

If you've been struggling to shift a pattern that seems endless, I wanted to take a moment to give you some alternative approaches that I've used with clients to make love better.

Thy Most Dating and Relationship Coaches Fail (And what to do about it).

Your relationship is not the product of what you do; it's a manifestation of what you believe about yourself. So the only effective strategy for transforming a relationship is to transform yourself. Otherwise, it's like shuffling around the furniture in a house with a foundation built on shifting sands.

Why Expression is so Important for Healing

Welcome to one of my favorite seeds. One of the great joys of this work, to me, has been to see people move from being stifled and frustrated, to more and more fully expressed. What full expression means, takes careful consideration, because it is different for each of us, depending on our history, and our constitution.. The pivotal consideration is to lay down the artifice, drop the masks, and to let the essence have his or her voice.  It takes careful consideration, because for one person, sitting quietly may be their aligned expression in the moment, and for another, dancing wildly may be required.

There are various forms of expression; creative, verbal, somatic, sexual.

The Deep Somatic Healing Work, Sessions as the Alchemical Laboratory, and Unwinding Lifetime Patterns

When I started doing the healing work I do, the unlearning began. I quickly realized that everything I thought I knew about the body or the mind, was essentially, either wrong or incomplete. Things surfaced that I couldn't explain, and I simply had to be with them; serve as the witness. If I thought Jesus might show up, Buddha did, or if I thought ghosts were figments, they showed up. When I thought they'd be benevolent, they were angry, and when I expected anger, I was washed with love. The beliefs of clients danced with my own, and sometimes things neither of us believed in came crashing into sessions.
